We took the girls down to Cayuga Lake, one of the Fingerlakes, Thur. night to camp out. We first took Skye & Bray camping when they were almost 2 and we ended up coming home around 3am, when they woke up and thought it was morning & time to play! We've since taken them once or twice a year & they really love it. We've also taken Cami once last year, which ended with me bringing her home and Jas staying with the girls. She just couldn't calm down enough to go to sleep. She thought it was so much fun to jump and crawl on top of everyone in the tent. So, we weren't sure how things would work out on this trip, but we were 45min. from home, so leaving in the middle of the night wasn't an easy option.
We got a little nervous when the group of college guys camping right behind us was still blaring rap music at 9pm, so we thought about asking them to turn it down, but then I remembered that quiet time is usually from 10-8. So we decided to wait it out and sure enough at 10pm, the ranger must have driven by and made them turn it off. All we heard him say was "all the way down":)
Then the girls went to sleep.

Thanks for letting us borrow this great tent Jill! It's really big enough for about 3 more people. We had tons of room. Y'all will have to try it out one day:)
The girls slept on the crash pad, they couldn't wait to set up their beds.
all set...Bray kept asking all afternoon if we could go to bed now. She just loved being inside the tent. Although, when it was time for bed she said "I don't want to go to bed, I want to run around"

Campbell just wanted to play in the van. She loves to play in the car & she had just poured a coke out in our front seat and Daddy said she couldn't get back in.
She was not happy about it.
There was a cool playground right on the lake. Cami really likes to hang from things, as you can see. She's good on bars.
Skye and Bray had a big weekend...they both learned how to do the monkey bars & how to swing(pump and go high without help).
